BJ - nice top 10 list that can be made by every rich guy in Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Here is my top ten that the SMR value is less that $5,000 in a PSA 8. Money can't buy this list because there are some of the rarest cards from some pretty tough sets. Try to find some of these in a PSA 8 holder.
1. 1971 Topps Greatest Moments Thurman Munson
2. 1971 Topps Greatest Moments Hoyt Wilhelm
3. 1971 Topps Greatest Moments Jim Perry
4. 1971 Topps Greatest Moments Lou Brock
5. 1954 Wilson Weiner Ray Jablonski - and none of those sliders PSA with 80/20 centering.
6. 1934 Batter up #192 John Broaca
7. 1934 Batter up #98 Wallace Moses
8. 1934 Batter up #39 Willie Kamm
Okay to hard? Here are two easy ones for you .
9. 1971 Topps Greatest Moments Jim Fregosi in a PSA 7- and not one that PSA graded a PSA 7 for Superiors' auction with a crease and was hand cut.
10. 1934 Batter up #155 Luke Sewell PSA 7.
According to SMR you can buy this lot for $4435. Now this is the real challange and not that list that if I had $200,000 I could go to Brian Drent, Levi and a mastro auction and complete it within a months time.
By the way if you do happen to find a raw example that grades like this, I will pay you 3X SMR for your efforts.
Thanks,

Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases

The problem with your list is this:
The life expectancy of the average male (most collectors) is 76 years. Most begin collecting at age 7 or 8 and get serious after schooling (age 20+). That leaves roughly 50 years to find those...not enough time, dude! You'd have better luck finding a three-legged ballerina in a gunnysack race to the finish where PSA would buy back her overgraded 10 just as she gets hit by the USC marchingband. I do wish you luck on your quest...
By the way, I get your idea, I'm just yanking your chain. Point made on me.

Although I don't have any of the cards you outlined as being rare. I am wondering what the going rate is on selling or trading these cards. I'm seriously considering getting rid of them. Looking for your expert opinion. Thanks.
