IF MS65. I take the PCGS price list, multiply by 0.8, get my ballpark. Or use ebay's auction history/completed auctions. Looks like a fair MS64 price. So the question will be, for you.....what is the grade? As that determines the fair market value. Gary
  • I would pass. The pics are bad, and you likely would get a MS 62 or 63 coin, not worth $200. You could pick up better looking ones (MS 63 or 64) for around $175, based on results of closed auctions.
  • maja.maja is known for "estate sales" - note also that they don't put up a good pic of the coin - pass.
  • I too say pass, you most likely will recieve ms63

  • These are the 3 most common dates of CC Morgans there are. Spare yourself some aggrevation and just go to any large coin show and look at a few hundred of these in GSA holders first. When you decide what is acceptable in terms of the kind of "look" you favor, just buy (and haggle over price) the ones you like there. These coins have a small markup because there are so many dealers competing to sell them. And this is one of the FEW COIN PURCHASES YOU CAN MAKE and be assured of complete originality (in the US Gov't holders) plus NGC will grade them that way so you know what you get. Good Luck!

"go to any large coin show and look at a few hundred of these in GSA holders first."

Good advice. Those images don't tell you a thing about the quality you would be receiving. Many GSA CC dollars are full of bagmarks. Go to a show, get your eyeball on at least several of these and buy the most acceptable (to you) coin(s).

imo, most likely the coins are not of the holdering type (64 or better).
IF they were gems,9 times out of ten they would be submitted for slabbing
and auctioned for the bigger bucks.
i agree the coins must be 62s or 3s at best otherwise they would be in
    some top tier holder.
  • I have bought from Maja Maja in the past with no problem, but I would want to see better images of the coins before bidding.

Use ask seller a question, I am sure he will provide better images for you !!
