Latrell Dumbwell

At 34, Dumbwell told the Twolves he was insulted at the 3 year 30 million extension and would ask to be traded because he didn't want to help the Wolves win a championship if they weren't going to pay him.

Another reason I like to collect vintage.

We were stuck with Spree in NY here for a few years. I'm all choked up by his latest ploy! Somebody please insult me with $30 mill.

Well, unless he is buying in bulk with Randy Moss, I'm guessing that pot isn't cheap in MN, so he needs all the $ he can get to be able to maintain a status quo between living and recreational expenses.

    Who is Rober Maris?
  • Your right that didn't sit well with many of the MN people. Latrell was quoted on sunday.

Q- Don't you want to stick it out for one more year make run at the title and then test the free agent market?

A- Why would I want to help them win a championship, they haven't done anything for me. I have mouths to feed.

I paraphased a little but you get the point. What a jerk. KG took a pay cut last year so the t-wolves could get cassel and latrell. He could go somewhere and make more money but he won't win a title. He's all about the money makes me sick. He's making 14.4 mill. I don't know what he's feeding his family gold! I just hope that Mchale won't give in to his cry baby attitude. So long spree.
  • after those comments it's hard to believe any (team)would pay him more...oh i forgot , we're talking about the NBA. no wonder bowling gets better ratings!

I'm not sure how smart or dumb Spree is, but I doubt he's dumb enough to post a thread like this in the wrong forum.

You expect more? After choking his coach and resisting arrest....gotta love the NBA prima donnas.
If it wasn't for Spreewell and Chris Webber, I'd have no one to root for. I root for any team they are playing against.

It doesn't help that I'm a Warriors fan.

  • As for posting in this forum, I'm not sure Sprewell could put two sentences together and the point is that I love the vintage cards and avoid modern because of idiots like this, and I assure you that being a lawyer, CPA and series 7 licensed financial planner I am smart enough to do alot of things. Last time I checked this was the "Community Message Board" to discuss "Sports Cards & Memborabilia". If you don't like the post Big Hurt, exercise your right not to read or respond to it.

No offense soup, but I think BigHurt was just trying to be comical--and even though I am not offended by your posting it here, the "Sports Talk" forum is more suited for this thread.

Latrell is a selfish a-hole and is a thug to boot.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

I exercised my right to inform you that there is a forum DESIGNATED for this kind of discussion/trash talking.

I for one, am glad PSA has the sports talk forum. I didn't like these forums cluttered with the latest Kobe scandal, or 'my team just beat your team' or 'player xxx is an overpaid jacka$$, I HATE HIM!' threads when looking for information concerning sports cards & memorabilia. I'm certain I'm not alone in that sentiment.

  • If he was being comical that is one thing, but it sounded to me like he was being an ahole. How about kindly pointing out the fact that you personally don't like it that I used Sprewell to compare and contrast my viewpoint on vintage vs. modern cards, instead of saying that I was an idiot for posting it the wrong place. After all, sports cards, vintage vs. current, was the issue, and thus the proper forum.

Quit while you're behind. You know, I know and everyone else knows you didn't make your post because you wanted to discuss 'vintage vs modern'. You wanted to cry about how Spree was an idiot for not accepting the Timberwolves offer.

  • I find it kind of intersting how you fellas call Spree all kinds of names for his behavior, then you go ahead and act the exact same way towards each other....

It's a public forum guys. Relax, enjoy it....and leave the policing to the cops.

Now try not to spend the next hour piling on me.

Incidentally, when Sprewell played here in NY for the Knicks, he was the absolute hardest working, most hustling player I've ever seen...in any sport.

Plus, he's worth more than 10 mil per year....that offer IS an insult. Have you checked NBA salaries lately?

  • First of all, the forum police is now trying to tell me what I was thinking. You must be a democrat that voted for Kerry, no doubt in my mind.

Secondly Hodges, it was this guy that personally attacked me.

Thirdly, to BigHurt, I will say what I want, where I want and when I want, in whatever forum I want. You don't have to read it.

Finally, it is Sprewell's attitude that bothers me and a lot of other fans and at age 34 if you owned the Twolves, I don't know that you would guarantee him more than ten million a year with the new collective bargaining agreement coming up.
  • By the way BigHurt, please take that picture off, it bothers me. What does it have to do with sports cards and memorabilia? Plus it takes me longer to scroll down and I don't like it. It appears that you are expressing a viewpoint that should be displayed in the sports talk forum.

    Sadly enough,
You are on the path to becoming a troll---anonymous poster claiming " I will say what I want, where I want and when I want, in whatever forum I want" will only spell trouble.

I hope you decide to take the good path and play nice--but I now have my doubts.

I guess in your demented little world, someone pointing out the irony of your original post would have to mean they supported Kerry. image

You've now managed to incorporate sports trash talking and politics into your thread in the sports cards and memorabilia forum. Include a post peddling some raw baseball cards and the message board triple crown for incompetence is yours.

  • "I'm not sure how smart or dumb Spree is, but I doubt he's dumb enough to post a thread like this in the wrong forum."

Once again and hopefully finally, you attacked a board member with your comment noted above that has been on these boards longer than you have. As for myself, I have never had another problem with anyone here other than you. I respect everyone's right to express their opinion in any forum and have never been critical of anyone for doing so. I will leave it at this, the freedom of expression includes not only written words but photos and monikers and you have chosen to express yourself as "evil inside" and show a Florida Marlins baseball game. I respect your right to do so whether or not I believe it is the appropriate forum.

This is the end of the discussion for me unless you choose to continue your attacks.

I want to know if Spree's pics on his '04 issue cards depict him with that outrageous new "do" I saw him sporting on TNT the other night. I grew accustomed to the "if Johnny Damon had cornrolls" look. If so, I'm gonna pick one up to keep with my Don Mossi card. Oh, that will make me a modern card collector to boot!! Lighten up lads. Regards. image
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

Just noticing the thread title, I had absolutely no doubt it was Latrell's birthday.

    Heh.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
