Update on 1955DDO Counterfeit

It seems that Mister Alexander is indeed a honest man,I have recieved a full refund on the coin including S&H and grading fees, all it took was a call to his local p.d.,the FBI,ebay, paypal and a few other that I have forgot about, there is a santa claus, and I still have the bogus coin in a pcgs bodybag.Braddock had some pictures of it ,maybe he will be kind enough to post them, thanks for everyones help and suggestions. Congrats but am I to understand that you still have the "coin".

If he refunds you isn't he entitled to his "coin" back or at least turned over to the feds?

    Joe.

Cdan12, if you are not turning the coin over to the authorities, I believe you should return it to the seller.

If the seller is not entitled to have it (and of that, I am not certain), you, having been reimbursed, have no right to keep it, either.

Send it to the ANA. I believe they have a database of counterfeits!

Man! You dodged a HUGE bullet by getting a refund on this one.

Consider yourself lucky and don't put yourself in harms way again.
