I'm going to sign up for CU gold, get the 'cheap' submissions. Need to gut check my raw grading against the big guys.

I will have a choice of the MS69 ASE or the book on grading/counterfeits.

My question is about the book;
is it any good for counterfeits? does it have diagnostics for say a 14-D, or a 16-D, etc.

Is the book worth it, or should I take the coin?

I havent looked at my copy in about a year. Even so, if you want to sell it, I think you'll get more for the book than the silver eagle. ....and the silver eagle doesnt come with a cert number on the slab. You cant enter them into the registry.
