Just back from Torex

I just returned home from Torex where I participated in The Michael Walsh (Coin Coinoisseur auction.Some of the highlights were:

1 cent 1924 ICCS ms 64 red @ $5,175

5 cents 1941 ICCS ms 65 @ $2,400

    Four dealers were bidding on the 1924 in 64 red and they were eventually outbid by a collector.Everyone graded it ms 65 red by both ICCS and PCGS standards.The dealer who was the underbidder thought it could be worth as much as $10,000 in an ms 65 red holder.
