BEST IKES ARE .....

The best ikes are coins that are : no fingerprints, no haze, no spots, and STRONG STRIKES !!
I have passed on many opportunities to buy coins that had a numerically higher grade, because of the above listed problems.
Many, many, ms 66 clad business strikes have these problems, and are worth much less than a ms 65 WITHOUT those problems !!
The weak strike is usually present in the : LIB of liberty ( obverse )
and the IN of in god we trust ( obverse )

I'll still bet that people will pay more for a slab that say 66 than any 65 no matter what it looks like.

Rality is that PCGS will take care of print problems on coins.

If you have some ugly printed Ikes that you want to unload (higher grades only), I'll buy em.

Linedad is correct, people will still buy the slab. (unfortunately)

I feel that the best IKEs to own are the ones you already have, and those you really want to get later.

Plus the really, really, good, most best of best, ones are the raw ones you find and get slabbed yourself.
