What is the value?

I'm new to the boards and have enjoyed reading the great threads and picking up valuable information. I have just (the last few years) got back into collecting, got out when the water got too muddy back in the very early 90's, so I hope some of my questions aren't too silly. The knowledge of this thread on Nolan Ryan is very impressive. I know someone can tell me about an item that I have had for several years and just recently pulled from the top of the closet. It is called Baseball Flipp Tipps. By flipping the photo pages (72 total) Nolan Ryan demonstrates his "5000th Strike-Out/Pitch Delivery." I also have a Mantle Flipp Tipps that demonstrates his swing. I tried to attach a scan but it was too large. Any help with the value and how to downsize a scan for attachment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Moderator, please move this to the Nolan Ryan Thread.

    Just kidding.

Welcome to the board. I have no idea what the flipp books are worth, but I always thought they were kinda cool. IIRC, they were kinda pricey when they came out, but I still like flipping through my Will Clark book. It's got the grand slam he hit off Maddux in the 1989 NLCS. (FYI, Maddux said that Will read his lips when he said, I'm gonna throw him a curveball. That's the reason pitchers and catchers put their gloves over their mouths now...)

Out of curiostiy, is the Mantle an old black and white sequence from his younger days, or in color from his later days?
