How much do you think a smithsonian 1996 W 5$ gold coin is worth? Or what is a good asking price

    Is it certified by PCGS or is it in the original mint issue case?

    It's in an NGC case and it's in MS69 but what I don't get is the coin is not gold its silver. I don't know if there is such thing as a silver one.

    sounds like a slab insert error.
    shouldnt it be a `proof` something or other if it was a proof gold coin(bullion)?
