Hard to find date in PCGS PR65 BN plastic. Very nice to look at except the streaky appearance obv (more obvious when looking at big pictures than in real life). Deep mirrors, lots of frost. Some nice color. I've been working on showing the color and showing the mirrors and come up with this look. The rev turned out really well, obv isn't as pretty.

Great photos! I've been considering proof Indians for a while now. Some of those

I've got a proof IHC with lots of color, but I just can't get these kind of photos. To get the color to show up, the reflection of the light gets in the way on the holder.

I have figured out why this coin works for this technique. It's because the coin is tilted inside the slab so that the coin catches the light before the slab does. I've been trying to duplicate the look with other coins and can only do on those that are tilted. You have to aim the tilt towards the light to make it work.

Nice coin and great pics, love the way you captured the color in the reverse fields. Colorful BN & RB IH's in plastic are the toughest coins to photograph, looks like you're onto something with your new technique!
