I'm currently attempting to photograph a coin that I believe is the finest known of its type.

I'll post a pic as soon as I take one that is mediocre (as opposed to the pics so far which are all absolute crap).

Good point. I am just so amazed at the Ford Mott that I can't stop thinking about it. Did you see it??? Sheesh!! I would post an image in another thread, but it is copyrighted material.

Its nice, but the finest known Mott is the July, 1997 Bowers and Merena coin. And Ford 314 was graded more highly in the Ford sale (and just sold for $5900 as NGC MS65) in the last ANR auction.

Actually, I could tell you that the sharpest Mott is probably the 1989 Stack's Steinberg coin, which is pretty amazing, but its a very late die state and therefore not ideal in my opinion.

Oh, we have access at home too, but I have been denied access because "you work too much, spend some time with us, blah, blah". (I sure hope she never sees this!). She just went to sleep so I thought that I would check in to see CCU's finest known coin. NOTHING!!! I am risking my marriage here and NOTHING!!
