Question for Canadian coin experts

Hi,

I have a copper token or coin that I can not identify. It has the bust of the king & queen (of England I presume) on the obverse & a bas relief of Canada on the reverse with the date of 1939. I have attached a scan, but it may be a bit dark.

Any help in identifying this item would be appreciated.

Thanks!
HJP

It's a common Canadian copper medal given out to school children (small version) or sold for 10¢ (larger version). These medals were also struck and silver and, as rumour has it, also in gold.

The medal commemorates the royal visit of George VI to Canada in 1939.
