I would like to submit a few coins for grading to PCGS. However, after reading a few posts regarding this, it seems that it would not be worth it finanically to join PCGS just to get 4 free gradings. So waht other ways can somone get a few coins graded?
Someone told me find a dealer that submits, and maybe he would let you include your coins for a small fee to cover the additional postage; assumming you also pay all the assoicated grading fees. My one local dealer in town doesn't submit to PCGS. He will take coins to submit to PCGS, and once a month send the coins to another dealer friend of his that submits coins. But this process takes a long time. One member of my local coin club did this once, and it took over 6 months to get a coin graded.
These are not expensive coins. And I do not want to submit them at a show.
Any other ideas? Would you trust a fellow board member if someone offered to include them with their regular submission?
