Going to start my own mint, mint my own coins

BaleyBaley Posts: 22,663 ✭✭✭✭✭
However, I'm running low on gold, silver and copper, especially gold. Could you all send me some gold, silver and copper?

Also, I'll be needing coin dies and presses, can anyone help?

I really want to make a go of this private mint thing, all I need is some dies, presses, and precious metals

thanks in advance

oh, and some burlap bags for the coins after they're minted

dies, presses, coin metals, and burlap bags, that's all i need..

That stuff's useless, Silver is much better.

True, but maybe you can cut it with a little platinum to make the silver go a little further. Just a thought.

I'll bet Baley can mint your nations coins for you. Hell, if the US Mint can do it, why can't he?

All of my silver, gold and platinum is already coined. I do have a few hundred gold planchets scattered around the office if you want those.

thank you all, I'm already getting lots of donations of gold, silver, copper, even platinum, keep those bars of precious metals coming!

Also, if the metals are in coin form, that's fine too... ship me those old coins, get em out of your way!

I still need all the mint equipment like dies and presses, also, need some rollers and blank cutters, and the rim-upsetting machine too.

thanks for all the flips! I now have too many flips and will go into the flip-retailing business.. I'm going to "flip the flips" image

Damn! Wouldn't you know it. I just remembered I've been using a 2' by 0.5' by 0.5' gold bar as a door stop. I'll keep my platinum and send you the gold instead if that's okay.

If you need some designs I might be able to dig something up provided that I'm not infringing any copyrights.

Here's the site concept I've come up with for him. It's not working yet but you can see a few of his pieces.
