Still Learning (Small 5 Day Results Back)

Well I received my latest submission back.

5 Day Special #560851 60115

If the link is working you see it wasn't that bad, I am curious on the Brodowski though. It appeared like all the rest and I am wondering what I should have noticed on this card.

I see the definition on the website but should I focus on something specific when examining the edges?

I showed the Gomez to some board members in Chicago and we all thought it was a 8 candidate, so I will have to check that one out.

All in all, I am getting better, the Terwilliger and Stone are very high end 7's, and I am happy with the Preacher Roe getting the 7.

All in all it s still fun as hell to find these 50 year old cards raw and try to get 7's.

Iwill keep trying to get better at my own submissions so all in all I say this was a great learning experiance al the way around.

Thanks,

Glen

When a card receives a 6 and the corners and centering are okay for a 7,
it's usually a surface problem like a scratch or a very light wrinkle. Maybe something on the back ?

Also, often a card returned as 'Not Holdered Miscut', will grade the 2nd time it's submitted. Go figure. image
