Toned 1905 MS-65 RB IHC Good Value?

image I like the toning on this IHC. The Dealer has it listed at $225. It's Graded MS-65 RB by NGC. This seems pricey to me. PCGS Price Guide shows $150? Is this toning worth the premium?? Just looking for some thoughts and comments. Thanks, Lee

Depends on how it looks in person and how bad you want it. That's a real premium, especially for a NGC coin.

I don't know what an untoned one really goes for, but I wouldn't pay much of a premium for the toning... for comparison, here's a coin I got for 1/3 the money... (64BN)

What Lakes said. That's a premium for an NGC 65RB, but 65RD's of high quality have been selling off the charts recently so it's a matter of personal taste. If it's gorgeous in person it's worth a few extra bucks.

airplanenut you've got a very nice IHC there. I don't feel the premium is justified for this coin. I'm passing on it. And my search continues. Lakesammman and shylock thanks for your thoughts!!!!!!!!! Lee
