Are you sure his name is not Potholes?

What's most aggravating to me is the Yankees choked against the Sox. As I see it the Yankees would have made mince meat out of St. Louis also. The Sox and Yankees were the best teams in MLB this year.

    Strange as it may seem, there was once a good baseball team in St. Louis this year. They could hit and run and even pitch fairly well. We're not sure what happened to them.

    why are you still talking about the Yanks? They choked and would of gotten raped by the cards! Arod would
    of showed up and sucked, you pitching staff would of given up 40 runs and Torre would of still went to
    Rivera in the 9th only to get further slaughtered.

    joestalin, what I have seen of the St. Louis pitching staff, the Yankees' pitching staff is orders of magintude better, and that is not saying much.

    The cardinals pitching staff was pretty darn good in games 3 and 4, fair in game 2 and bad in game one.

    Scores of 3-0 and 4-1 are hardly beatdowns, the cardinal bats just fell asleep after game 1.

    The yankees pitching in no way, shape, or form could have handled the cardinal bats like the bosox pitching did.
