    RYK,

Haven't read the article yet, but what do you think are the odds that that will turn controversial and heated?

Haven't you learned anything yet?!? image

I doubt that it will. I thought about that before I posted it, but I posted it anyway because:

    1. Negative publicity is still better than no publicity.
    2. Very few people here care about Carson City gold, or more generally, dated gold.
    3. Those that do care will find it interesting and useful.
    4. The article was well-written.
    5. The author was not selling any of the coins mentioned (image).
    6. No firm or individuals are magnets for criticism to the same extent that Legend is/does.*

    Haven't you learned anything yet?!?

    Yes and no. image

    * For the record, I do like the Legend folks. I would expand on this, but this is a thread to dissemenate the Pinnacle article.

Great article! I really enjoyed it.

That stuff just isn't getting any cheaper!

Whopping prices in the 72-CC, 75-CC, and 76-CC.

Why is it that no one cares about rare date gold? Aside from the usual reason that no one collects gold by date. Is it the kind of thing that is "permanently undervalued"? Like 2c and 3c pieces?
