Robert Merrill was born in 1919 and so was the curse. Now they are both dead.

    If anyone wants to cut and paste, I would read it--but I stopped giving out my email address to every website years ago. The unsolicited email spam has magically gone away during that time as well.

    just before the playoffs.

    Ummm, this is the 21st century, not 1692 Salem.

    Anyone stupid enough to believe in Curses should avoid voodoo dolls at all costs.

    Congratulations Red Sox players who showed they believed in themselves, not curses.

    Too bad Scotty Rolen....no baseball heaven for you...hahahahahahahahahaah...shouldn't have dissed Philly.
