Sold most of my Mercs recently, but these are a few of my beauties that I couldn't part with
1945-S PCGS MS-66. Nice album toning. Gorgeous little piece
1941 PCGS MS66FB I like this one. In the right light and angle it shows all sorts of colors from gold and red to aqua and purple and even a patch of poop brown... But still a gorgeous coin, IMHO
1941-S PCGS MS66FB. This is my all time favorite coin in my collection. I love this baby... and today for the first time, I noticed the tinges of lime green in the color. I didn't make it past taking the color photos though. And there's multiples of them I just had to show, and I didn't get around to a luster shot or a reverse picture, though the reverse has some toning, it doesn't compare to the Obv!

<< <i>Very pretty! I like the last one... I had one like it for a little while. >>
You mean the one you said you probally wouldn't buy because of the type of toning it was The last one is the Merc on the right side of my sig banner

Why did you sell the others
<< <i>No, they're very nice
Why did you sell the others >>
I lost interest in completing the set... and being short on money, I was wanting to buy a few coins... so... I sold off the bulk of my Merc set... spent half the money on a new coin, the other half is going to pay back loans I made to myself...

A lot more colors are showing up now than before... chalk it up to better pictures

Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Personally, I usually seem to default on those loans to myself

I certainly remember that 1941-S, as well as Jeremy's 1945-D.
