Coin Show Report -- Burlington, VT 10/24

This was a fun one. Dropped the daughter off with her grandparents & zipped into town for a quick pass. About a dozen dealers and very light traffic. Sold my complete set of Peace dollars easily for a satisfactory price. Traded a pair of common date morgans for a pretty album toned 1893 Barber quarter and a few more plus some cash for a very cool, very gunky blue-green original 1828 bust quarter. In & out in less than half an hour. I think my collection is coming along pretty well -- I noticed that most of what most of these guys had out as the 'primo' offerings in their cases isn't as nice as my own best stuff. For the most part, it's been a very good year.

Thanks for the report. It is a lot more efficient to go without the little ones, though as I learned at the ANA, when the kids reach a certain age, it can be a load of fun with them, too.
