Are you ever tempted to buy a PCGS coin just to use as a comparison to get your existing PCGS coin u

I often see a coin which is worse (sometimes much worse) than one that I own, but is somehow residing in a higher holder than mine.
Which gets me thinking that maybe I should buy this coin, tie up a lot of money for a long period of time, eventually carry it to a show with me, lay it out in front of PCGS side by side with my coin and then they can say 'Hey! You're right!! Your coin is undergraded, we're sorry about the mistake, would you like us to bump it one or two notches?'.

you have a mind like a steel trap!!!!!!!! the unfortunate, more likely result would be 'Hey! You're right!! Your coin is overgraded, we're sorry about the mistake, would you like us to bump it down one or two notches?'
sometimes it's best to let a "sleeping dog lie"(sic)!!

Cool. If they dropped the other coins down, they would have to reimburse you for the grade difference on each one.
