An ebay good news story: GB 1914 shilling

Man! I got a deal on this one. Ebay's been annoying me lately and getting this in the mail today just made me forget it all...

Check out the ebay pics. Not bad, but apparently they scared off the bidders, only $4!:

This thing is a perfect UNC! There are a few minor bag marks, but not a touch of wear that I can tell.

Imagine this coin, but in a much smaller and lower quality picture than even this scan off my cheapo scanner.

I think I won it for nine bucks and something, as I recall.

Then imagine the coin in its true colors, which look far better than this picture.

I know I've posted it before, but it's another good example of "you never can tell".

Really, though, I would've still been happy if the coin were VF.. I missed out on that nice UNC Aethelred had a while back

He had a bunch of other George V shillings at the time too.. was thinking about grabbing the other WWI era ones but I must've forgotten.
