Hmmm. Why is it now Gemmy calls them "the Yankees" instead of "My Yankees"?

Sucks when your team loses (in your case, choked beyond belief!) but damn, man, sac up and call them your team all the time.
The Yankees just erased years of dominance to prove the reality that you can't buy chemistry or HEART.
The RedSox have it, the Yankees don't.
The Yankees completed the worst collapse of ALL TIME being the Playoff equivalent of the 1964 Phillies collapse...it will be remembered in baseball lore and is more than just a loss.
It vanquished the Yankee myth once and for all, destroyed "The Curse" and was cathartic for every Yankee-hating fan in the World, not just in Boston.
Don't be like JS and live in the past...the future is now and in this reality the Bucs stink and The Yankees are chokers.
<< <i>116-46 2001 Seattle Mariners. My friend, who was their DADDY? Talk about CHOKE. Nuff said. >>
WAH WAH
Cry like the baby you are spammy.
Yes the Mariners won 116 games...and yes, they failed to make the playoffs.
You want to talk about the yankees choking versus the mariners? Let's look back to 1995....NY up 2-0 in the divisional series, best of 5...and the mariners rip off 3 straight win, with the final game Edgar putting a dagger into the yankees hearts with a clutch, key hit that drove in junior, and essentially saved seattle baseball. That was HEART...something the yankees haven't had since $teinbrenner took over...he wants to buy championships, and not develop talent anymore.
Spammy, spammy, spammy...when someone calls out your team on their CHOKE, instead of saying 'we had a great year, we fell a bit short' you feel the need to bring up the team that tied the regular season record for wins?
Yeah, that makes sense, spam boy.
Going home for the winter. Pinella has a tantrum. Priceless.
And when they are losing (big surprise) you refer to them as "they".
Nothing too shocking but kind of interesting.
Lots of "theys" here in Tigertown.
Like the tantrum Cueball Zimmer threw when he charged Pedro and was tossed aside like a petulant child?
Pinella is one of the finest managers; he's a master motivator, and is passionate about his team and his desire to win. It's no wonder that so many of his current and former players would do anything for him.
If the worst thing you can say about Seattle is they won 116 games in a year, spammy, well no wonder your posts are so worthless.
Tell me again what your attempts at insulting Mariner baseball have to do with you calling the yankees 'the' yankees instead of 'your' yankees now?
Moron.
