Ok, I'll be the dumb one to quess first. I'll go MS-62/63 liner with semi-PL fields under the haze. What's with the fresh ding(?) near the U of the obverse.
i have a `84CC that looks better that had a looksee by the ANACS guy at a show last year. He called mine a 62. I guess, when you use a microscope to grade.
Wow, post a $1 and all the MorganHeads come out of the woodwork. It is a PCGS GSA 64PL. I had trouble capturing the luster with my photography technique. I am much better at photographing circulated gold coins--they are much easier:
Well this poor "MorganHead" is willing to go gold! You don't really need that old beat-up AU-58 1884-CC $5 piece do you? How about my beautiful 1884-CC Morgan in NGC MS-66PL in it's original GSA packaging. I know it's not as valuable but don't you get bored with all that gold just sitting in the bank? Share the wealth with us poor silver guys!!!
