yes but some get that way from many years of being held.
its sorta a natural thing that happens to coins when they dont circulate
and just sit around for such a long time.
ever notice that circulating coins never seem to....uh, get those funny colors on them?

usually anyway.

And I'm tired of going through 800 auction lots of Morgan dollars--- where 700 of them are dipped-out, second-rate, boring, dead, white rejects that the wholesalers can't even dump on the dealers at the bottem of the food chain!!!!!!

I wanted a thread complaining about other threads, too. There are a few of those today. Unlike the other complaints, threads on toning TRULY are overdone.

Many people collect toned coins. I find your complaint odd because what if what you collected was hot and there was someone complaining about the threads of what type of coins you collected.

I am not tired of it, I love to see toned coins. Since I have started 4 toned Morgan threads in the last month I must be one of the culprits you are eluding too
