Leave error in proof set or crack it?

I got this 1982 proof set from ebay and looking at it closely there is this ling DIe crack going threw the middle of the obverse about 50% down the center.

Is this worth more in the set?

I need the kennedy for a set collection i have.

I'd leave it in the set; the whole set should bring a premium if left intact.

Are you sure it's not just damage from the crack in the holder.

OK I just noticed the line in the plastic and did want to get your hopes too high. If it's on the coin interesting but I don't know the value.
