General Question regarding 1899 Morgan.

First of all thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I was wondering if anybody has a good explanation on why the 1899 Morgan is so undervalued with it's low mintage. If you compare it to the rest of the series there are only a handful of Morgans with lower mintages(4) not including CC. My only reasoning is that the other 1899's (0&S) have higher mintages, which seems like the most logical reason. So with that do you think the 1899 is a sleeper coin thats's just under appreciated or is just generally ignored because of the higher mintages for the O and S. Any insight would be welcomed. This has driven me nuts when I see a ....EG: 1896s with a mintage of 5million valued at 50 dollars and the 1899 with a mintage of 330,846 valued at 45 dollars.

The other possible explanation is that the mintage figures may be in error.
