Auto Opinions Please

Hello all, I recently discovered what appears to be a 1991 Score Joe Montana MVP Card Autographed. I vagly remember trading for it when I was much younger in the early 90's. So basically Im intresting in knowing if the autograph looks real, from the research ive done it appears it is. I question the 1/100 but i assume it is possble that it could be as I this card was picked up in California and I do not know the true history of it. So if you experts out there could please give me your opinion on this card I would greatly appeciate it. Also does anyone know how PSA's auto grading works? I have no problems sending the money in to have it graded but if its not original i dont want to waste mine/psa's time with discoving it. Hope to shed some light on this situation.     Tina,
    I can't find any listed pack-issued autographs of Joe Montana in 1991 Score. That doesn't mean the auto is fake though, and PSA/DNA will slab the card if they deem the auto is authentic. It seems like someone was trying to pull a fast one by serial numbering it, though.

    my thoughts exactly, i want to send it into PSA do I lose my money if I send it in and they discover it is a fake? Thank you for your opinions.

    Well, you'd be out the submission fee if they deem it is inauthentic. They only give a refund if it's an issue they don't grade, if it won't fit a slab, or if it's miscut (not off-center miscut, but out-of-square miscut).

    If I am not mistaken, Joe Montana was under contract with Upper Deck at that time and did little or no signing other than for them. As for PSA/DNA, according to step 4 they will issue a credit voucher if they are unable to render an opinion on the Auto. I would call and ask to be sure but it looks like there is no credit voucher for "NO PASS" or "Clubhouse" designated signatures. IMO, the card in your link does not appear to be legit. image

    ugh that was my fear! im not much of a football fan as I only deal baseball cards. thanks for the new information! ill have to decided im gunna do wiith the card i suppose thank you for everything guys
