If it really is UNC, that is a great price for any date of Victorian farthing. Current price for the 3-berry 1881 in "basic UNC" runs around £29 ($52). EF catalogues at £12 ($22), but that's probably on the high side, since that date is common even in high grade.
If the farthing isn't coming from one of the big dealers (NEN, Berk, Stephens, etc), I would be suspicious that it was UNC. Victorian bun farthings are frequently overgraded.
