I wont mention names or the auction, but I'm bitter at a certain seller. She sent me an email confirming my item was shipped on Tuesday October 12th. She then said count on 1 week for delievery. (Kinda slow but no big deal to me). I waited my week, and a few days extra, and wrote her an email saying this. "I'm sorry to bother you but I deleted my email that confirmed the day you shipped my item. Is it possible if you can inform me the day you shipped it. Thank you for your time."
Honestly, I did not delete that email, but tried to find a nice way to check on the mailing of this coin. Today, I recieve the same email she sent earlier, with OCTOBER 12 bolded and highlighted with the same message of expect 7 days mailing. On top of that, she requested a response...which may not seem like a big deal but ticked me off becuase its not my fault she doesnt ship out items on time!

Tried to establish a friendly relationship over the phone and e-mail in hopes he'd try to at least trace the shipment (if he had in fact sent it and could locate the records). If it was a scam, I guess it didn't matter by this point.
After another month (much to my surprise) he finally did send another duplicate coin so I at least got what I'd paid for.
Four months later another package showed up with the original coin (postmarked months earlier). The seller had no idea it had arrived and I could have just kept it (he had no record of its shipment). But I called him (he still had no record of its shipment). I sent him another check for the second coin (I'm not a hero - it was just the right thing to do).
It hadn't been a scam all along. He just kept poor records and had in fact sent the coin in a timely fashion which was lost in the mail. It does happen.
Like so...
Then the outside is shaped with the opening facing left, and the foot facing right...
Then you shape...
Then you reverse the bowl...and hollow the inside out.
