    overstock.com started as a clearance/closeout retail website some time ago; they've been advertising their entry into the auction market for a few weeks, according to my memory. I think there's some sort of promotional effort going on here; maybe overstock.com is waiving the commission/final value fee?

    Notice mcfarlane is leading the bidding. Must be todd McFarlane, who bought McGwire's 70th homerun. Bidding at $780,000 is ridiculous.
