What is it?

I have an 1887 seated dime and on the back instead of the normal "10 cents" and the other writing it has large initials which are "MW" and are printed in cursive writing. I don't know what it means. It might be a counterfeit or something of the sort but i don't know. If you have info please tell me.

Created by somebody by reworking the reverse, than given as a gift.

Unless it was done by some famous person and has a provenance proving it, it's considered damaged and has little value.

Love token. These are collected by some people. How much a collector will pay depends mostly on how ornately and expertly the engraving was done. There might even be a guidebook with price ranges out there for these.
