Another Pujols Bowman Chome Auto 005/500

I remember there was a thread about this a while back. I think I've seen 3 or 4 this bowman chome auto 005/500. I remember at one time both serial#'d 005/500 were up at the same time on ebay.

That is one of the #5's that has been shown before. Thanks for the link! I've been meaning to save scans of all of them!
    Who is Rober Maris?
  • Isn't there about 27 of these hand-numbered, 005/500 Pujols rookies floating around?

Just rub off the first two numbers, keep the five, add a couple zeros....piece-o-cake!

Don't you just hate hand numbered auto'd cards.
  • Hand numbered cards are alright if they are not signed on glossy surfaces. I've seen these Bowman chromes and you can rub the numbers off with your thumb with ease. Just wish the cards were factory numbered so you wouldn't have the number artists working their magic. There is no way a grading company can not slab it either.....same ink, same numbering style....

I feel bad for the guy that has the real #5 card. There is almost no way to distinguish the real one from these altered ones.
