I'm having a hard time assessing that one- the pictures seem a little blurry to me, and there's no indication of luster. I would speculate maybe a 62??

    I agree... 62/63ish.
    When in doubt, don't.

  • I hate to say this, because it is the most overused phrase in this forum, but it is hard to tell from the picture. I would guess naturally-toned and MS63. image

I agree........I can't tell for sure it's Unc and I do see a lot of marks on the reverse.

The coin has good detail but your image is funky looking. It's very difficult to access the luster
plus the color of the coin is odd.

Based on the scan color, I'd guess they'd 61 it. I guess it could be a bad dip job or something in which case it might BB, but I can't tell from this image.

Those images are too pixelated, too much compression. Any chance of lowering the compression and coming up with clearer pictures?

    AU58 or MS62/63.
  • Its not UNC, I would say au 55.
  • Looks to be an old dip and retone in a 2x2 envelope or something over decades. Unless there are hairlines, it looks to be a solid AU-53--58 with the darker color where the undisturbed luster remains near the devices, letters, etc. Unless you dip (properly) it might cost you a grading fee with a "questionable color" body bag (I've had a few from PSGS like yours recently).image

I think the coin has a history -- just a guess. I don't know much about cleaning, but it may expose more of a problem. With the looks of it in the current state, I'd say you have nothing to lose, besides time and putting more money into this coin. Maybe send it to that professional outfit over at NGC, but I'd suggest you move on to something better. I doubt this coin is ever going to look right.
