Oh my. I would have bet beaucoup bux against the Sox on this one. Glad I did not.

It will be a sad day for all the NYC coin dealers tomorrow.

    My sig line says it best.

    I have no right to complain as I lived to see my team win the World Series 6 times.

    That said, I'm rooting for the Red Sox in the WS. They had better win! Or the US Mint may have to resume that commemorative program in 2018.

    From a New Yorker who has always been an Indian (and Mets fan) there is hope for the Cleveland Indians in 2005! The Mets? Hard to read.

    The Indians basically kept the Yankees going for a LOOOOOOONG time starting with Roger Maris in 1960 via the Kansas City A's followed by refusing to allow Clevand native George Steinbrenner to buy the Indians which opened the door to his buying the Yankees followed once again by the infamous Graig Nettles for Charlie Spikes trade.

    Of course, the Indians helped the Red Sox once by giving Luis Tiant that helped the Sox!

    The well has finally dried up for the Yankeess since the Indians are trading smarter and keeping their young talent!

    I would love nothing better than to have Roger Clemons beat the Red Sox in Game 7 of the World Series. That would be sooooo sweet !!
