Looks like it has a very real shot. Reverse, no doubt. Obverse iffy.

Pictures are loading slower'n'ell here, but the thumbnails I did see make it look like a maybe-CAM to me. I don't see enough frost for a maybe-DCAM.

I'd have to say no if the obverse really looks like that. It's a nice, light cameo, but no cigar. I only wish my slabbed Washington proofs that looked like that said CAM on the holder...image

I would also be doubtful due to the obverse........

  • Thanks for the comments. I'll try to get better pics once it comes in. I figured it would be worth a shot, so here's hoping. **fingers crossed**

IMO - the reverse is a no-brainer. The obverse is a PR+ or a Cam- at PCGS. Therefore a gamble at PCGS. I do think it would cam at NGC.

It'd DCAM at PCI, and cost a lot less to submit, too! image

According to the picture the obv is brilliant with little frost so no on the CAM designation.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • NGC its a CAM
    PCGS is a maybe
Question is,is it worth the cost to submit it ?
in 65 ya break even !

    i agree with NUT

I seriously doubt it would cam at either service.
  • The cameo on the portrait looks iffy. Do the letters have any cameo frosting on them?

Don't know yet, I don't have it, but judging from the pics I'd say it does. The only deciding factor is the portrait.

  • NGC certainly and PCGS maybe. As others have mentioned, the obverse looks kind of weak compared to the reverse.

    NGC: slight possibility.

    PCGS: No way.

    Obverse is not cameo.

    I have nothing to say
  • Well, it came in today. Nice coin with even, unbroken frost on both sides. Some haze on the mirrors but I don't think it will have much problem going CAM, but no DCAM. image
