Is this an overmint mark....Franklin experts?

I just got this coin...it looks like an "S" mint mark to the north east...please tell me what you think?

Oh and nice color on the obv too.

I think you're asking if it's a repunched mintmark (RPM), a D/D.

An over mintmark (OMM) would be (in this case) a D/S.

I believe it is an RPM.

I have been collecting for years, but this is no way a specialty...i will try to get better pics. My 30X scope shows it real nice

It looks like a very close D/D..... unless you are refering to what looks like the top part of an S that is very wide to the right, nearly directly below the ES of STATES? (or are those part of the coin's toning, that the photo makes look like partial mintmarks....)

To tell you the truth, i dont know what I am looking at anymore, its late, I am tired and just know that it doesnt look right to me, looks like an OMM or RPM, I will try to get better pics

The toning is showing a lot of things in that pic. It looks like a decent D/D RPM , but I think I see where you may be seeing a complete S, completely separated from the D to the N/E. A better pic would be great.
