pop report trivia questions

Looking at my collection of old PCGS pop reports (I still don't have one from either 1986 or 1987) got me to wondering about a couple of things:

1. When did PCGS first begin issuing pop reports?
2. Do you have any idea how many copies were printed each issue back in the 'old days', and what the number is today?

Hi Dennis,

I think the first Pop Reports came out towards the end of the first year...late 1986 or early 1987. We sold about 1000 copies of each for many years and I think that's about what we sell today.
