T2inc. - ebayer selling PRO graded cards

Everytime I see one of this guys auctions it just pisses me off !! Constantly ripping people off by selling those 'graded' trimmed cards slabbed by PRO. If you look at the pictures if is usually so obvious the cards are trimmed. Of course all his auctions are private so no one can alert potential buyers that the cards are trimmed. I have sent the guys a couple of e-mails asking if he enjoys cheating people, but of course he doesn't respond. He is currently selling Rose and Aaron rookies that will bring some hefty profits for him and will eventually cause the buyers remorse after they find out the cards are trimmed.

I know 'buyer beware' on e-bay, but everyone is not educated on grading companies.

  • Every day, new collectors, with some disposable income, enter the hobby.

Every day, they spend some of it on those sh*t auctions from these cons.

How mad do you think theses new collectors are when they find out (thru other grading services, m-boards, etc) that their cards are now crap.

How many of these new collectors take their disposable income ELSEWHERE, to another hobby, once they decide that this hobby is littered with fraud. (Answer - quite a few) --- Heck, they don't even have TIME to fall in love with the hobby before they're run from it.

  • Dallas - Exactly the point. I have enjoyed collecting and along the way have made some friends and made a few bucks. Uneducated consumers will never have the chance to enjoy the hobby because they will find out too late their purchases are essentially crap. PRO grading could much better serve the public by changing their name to PRO PT (probably trimmed).

Holy crap - you've made money in this hobby - LOLimage

Let's just hope the hobby can scrape along thru this time of slipshod, momma's-basement dwelling, card-slabbing butchers.

Well - maybe I should re-word that. I have made a few bucks on cards I have purchased and sold later. Overall no way in hell I will ever make a huge profit, but I didn't get in this to get rich.

speaking of grading companies. i was in a toy liquidators outlet this weekend in georgia and they had tiger woods tiger tales cards graded 9 and 10 by MINT grading. ever heard of them. www.mintgrading.com - "we only charge for the grade you want" - $1 each...LOL

    Thanks,

Every day, they smack themselves in the head image when they figure out it's trimmed, then turn around and sell it to some other sucker, using the same BS sales pitch as the last guy.
