Houstonian here...so
1) Beltran is money. Don't know if we can keep him, but what a player.
2) Do you start Clemens on 3 days rest?
3) What kind of reception will he get in N.Y.?
4) How good is Backe?
5) Lidge is as good as it gets right now.
Regardless of the outcome, this is ball at its best.

Beltran is awesome (4 1/2 tool player) - how screwed up are the economics of baseball if 2 teams in the same year (KC and Houston) can't "afford" to keep him. JMO, but he'll be wearing a halo, or yankee pinstripes next year....(the rich get richer)
Keep in mind this is Beltran's first "playoff", he is performing beautifully. You never know what guys are gonna do in the playoffs - it's a different game! (see Scott Rolen and Johnny Damon)
They should rest Clemens until game 7 (if needed)
He gave New York some fine years......but he's the enemy now.
Backe & Lidge --- didn't know much about 'em until the playoffs......good teams find these guys and keep 'em as long as possible!
BTW - I wanna see those multi-disco-colored Astro unis from the 70's!!!!!

But so did Dick Green, Denny Doyle, and Gene Tenace.
So did Marty Bystrom and Kirk Gibson.
Lidge is the reason the Astros are where they are.
That's a pretty big blanket you're using to cover the Astros team! I don't disagree that Lidge has played well, but I think you're a bit over the edge by giving him ALL the credit!
