I have to say that I have never bought anything from China...I just feel like there is too much chance of a rip-off. Has anyone done business there successfully? (on ebay)
I absoutely stay away from China-fraught with peril!
I also get nervous about Russia-saw a beautiful silver commem. I really wanted from a seller in Russia with 100% rating and couldn't bring myself to bid on it.
Not too keen on South America or Africa either- am I too cautious?

I've bid on South Africa with no problems. China - when snowballs survive in a Texas summer... (pretty much my attitude for most of the far east sellers)

Well I won't buy any antiques or numismatic items from China. They are all fakes. But I did buy a computer board from one guy, a electronic gizmo from another, and around 2,000 LED's from one, and 1,000 LED's from someone else. Everything came though OK no problems. Shipping and handling was reasonable a little under $10.00 if I remember right. These all came out of Hong Kong.
