Will a minor rim bruise on a Morgan $ guarantee a BB?

Just curious if anyone else has submitted a dollar (or any other denomination) with a rim bruise and actually had it slab. I've had a Morgan come back in a BB labeled "scratched" when the scratch was very minor and very small. Just curious.

Minor is a relative term... but on the low end, no it won't guarantee a bodybag.

Try to picture the coin as it would look in the holder. The gasket ring inside the slab will obscure a lot of minor rim dings, and PCGS seems to be quite willing to holder those coins.

But bigger rim dings are a different matter.
