Oh, OH! I think Lee's coins are being held hostage by PCGS!

Order #3248343.
There are 5 1893-S's and maybe some other stuff in there.
They were submitted by a new Collectors Club member (first ever submission) along with the 4 free submissions #3224242 (1889-cc's), order #3248342 (11 1894-p's), and this one.
Lee spent $640 to submitt 22 coins and just because 5 of them will meet the $3000 limit on $30 submission fee, I guess they are going to be held until she pays the extra $100 for a 7 day submission.
Kinda sucks for a newbie as a learning submission.
TO PCGS: Buddies, LIGHTEN UP!
Lee is going to spend thousands with you. DON"T QUIBBLE OVER PENNIES!

Did PCGS tell you that you'd have to upgrade the submission, or are you assuming that because it's not yet done? The fact that the other two are already done is pure luck. I have one in that arrived five days before yours, and it's not done.

    Like HRH said!

<< <i>But we have customers who individually submitt 500 to 2000 coins at a show. We are stuffed to the gills with coins at the shows.

At home, we're doing over 100,000 coins a month...also stuffed to the gills. Because we are over-subscribed...actually having more business than we can do at the current prices we charge...we don't give discounts. >>

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • OK, I'm assuming, but this is like waiting for Christmas. I always found an opportunity to peak at Christmas, PCGS denies me that pleasure.
