State Penny Program Question

Occasionally while searching through pennies, I find these cents that are punched with the outline of a state and wonder if there's a market for them. I found a dealer who has a complete 50-state set for sale.

Also, what are the old penny cards worth? I found one with copyright 1914.

  • I would imagine that there would be an eclectic group that would collect these....such as the "chop marks" on some dollars.

  • I have a roll of all fifty states that were stamped on 1969 Cents. One of them looked like it could have gone MS67RD, if not for the stamping. image

There are several different series of these coins. Most are on '74- '76 cents.

  • There may be 4 varieties of obverses in 2009. I think these will be struck in real copper. Just like the old days.

I've sold a couple sets on flea bay in the past year. If I remember correctly, they brought 10 to 12 bucks.....
