Cheap uncirc. moderns?

Anyone know of a good online store for cheap uncirc. moderns? I need to fill some holes in my Roosevelt set, and upgrade a few in my Washington and Jefferson Sets. I did a quick forum search but didn't turn up anything.

  • James - you might want to look in the BST board - sometimes people are selling moderns on there.

    Bothuwui,

Try the Cheap Slab Store. I've not purchased anything from them in a while, but in the past I've found some GREAT deals and they sell a fair amount of moderns.

I forgot to say I'm looking for raw coins. Slabs cost to much money. I can't afford all that plastic, just the metal.

There are surprisingly few dealers for unc moderns. Most charge about 10x wholesale
and there's no gaurantee you'll get a nice one.

The best bet is to get a mint set in most cases. The later dates will tend to be pretty
expensive in the sets and the quality from the dealers is a little better. Look in Coinage
magazine; there are usually a few lists every month.
