Hello to everyone

Hello to everyone. My name is Robert and I am new to PSA grading, etc. I have been collecting for 20+ years. I just joined the club and I can't wait to send in my first cards. I like 1970's Topps baseball, 1971 and 1975 in particular. I also am interested in Topps Heritage. This is a very good message board and I hope that I will be able to provide another informed viewpoint. I know that I have learned a lot just by reading posts the past several days. Thanks.image

    Good for you.
  • Hi Robert

Welcome - I see you collect '75's (I assume baseball).

I am about 50 cards from my set...just curious if you have any dupes, or need any for a set.

    Interested in trading?

    PLMK if interested!

Welcome to the boards Robert! image

Do you collect the regular issue '70s sets, or do you also branch out into inserts and test issues?
  • Thanks for the positive response from everyone. Sorry, Dal, I foolishly sold most of my collection a few years back. I am now trying to rebuild with quality cards. So, I don't have any to trade yet. Maybe soon. Also, to clarify, I am most interested in baseball, but I like any older issues from Topps, Bowman, etc. Thanks.

Welcome Robert. Have you decided on a minimum grade for your sets yet? Aside from deciding on which year(s) to build, establishing a minimum quality criteria is key. Good luck on your collection. You should be able to get answers to most of your questions from fellow board members.

TNFAN - good luck with your sets and thanks for joining in. Share your first submission results. You'll be sure to find some high fives, or commiseration if you need it.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
