I listed this coin tonight Ebay Auction Link, a PCGS MS66 1943-P DDO. I made, I believe 7 of the 28 existing MS66's and this is tied in the top 3. It is super fantastic, great luster, great toning, great steps for a non FS coin, it has it all. Honestly you instantly think 67 when you see it and upon close examination you find out why it is not a POP 1 coin. There are 0 ms 67's graded in non FS so this is as good as it gets without spending a small fortune on a FS example. here are some scans for detail and a Picture to show the luster.

Nice coin but I think I like this one even better: eBay Auction Link
Plus this seller has his coin listed with no reserve.

I wonder what "small fortune" THIS will bring. Man, check out those colors!!!
p.s. Brian, is that environmental damage on the reverse of the one in your picture?
The steps look quite a bit better in person IMO, but that's more about how good (or bad) I am with a camera. At least this turned out better than my proof copper photos.

Please don't take any of this as a slam on your coin - it's wonderful - it just has the bad luck of being the second-best available on eBay right now.

<< Unfortunate timing of your auction there, clackamas. I bet your auction would do much better ending a couple of hours *after* the 66FS instead of before it. You might get some of the underbidders on the FS coin to come after yours as a consolation prize. If nothing else, I doubt you'll see any action until the bidding on the FS coin gets above your opening bid.

Sean, no offense taken, I wish I had know about the 66FS example prior to the listing because I would have done exactly like you state and ahd it end a few minutes afterwards. Rellas, 66FS looks to be a fine coin.
No that is not environmental damage on the reverse, it some wierd toning. The coin was in a roll since mintage so I can't figure out what would casue that type of toning. It would dip out if you were so inclined but the obverse toning is nice and I would not want to detract from it with a dip.
If you don't want to cancel & rescedule it I believe you can still edit it to be a 10-day auction if you don't mind it ending on Wednsday.
Of course, no reserve starting at a penny will get a lot more people involved as well.
BTW, What's your OTHER one look like, Rellaa?
<< Looks like a VERY small fortune for the FS one was paid. (and nothing for the non-FS one). I'm surprised that the seller of the one in the title to this thread didn't bid AT LEAST what he was asking ($1,250) for the one he was selling WITHOUT full steps?

Maybe the seller was selling his coin to raise money and could not afford to buy the other coin? hence the reason he was selling in the first place. The 43 DDO 66FS went too cheap.
