Time travel & your coin collection. (Inspired by GoldCoinLover's Farewell thread)

If you read GoldCoinLover's thread you would have seen posts about time travel & going back to the U.S. Mint in it's early days to obtain
an incredible collection. Now think about that for a minute. That means if you did such a thing, then that coin would disappear out of
someone else's collection. It would be brought back to the future, placed in your collection, and in a condition most likely better than
it was a nano second ago in someone else's.
Would there suddenly be a bunch of untampered empty slabs around? Or would the slabbing have never taking place to begin with??
Would the change in time cause a "time quake" and you would never remember buying the coin since you couldn't possibly have bought
something that was picked from the mint centuries ago?????
I just want a nice 1792 Half Disme if anyone makes the trip.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Not necessarily. There are many coins that haven't survived to today. So maybe it would simply be more that survive.
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, but what you can do is take all of the modern coins you can carry and leave the Earth going as fast and as far away as you can go. When you turn around and come back, your modern coins will be hundreds of years old to the people who stayed on Earth.
