All of You Who Wanted to See Zulan's Collection, Here it is! (Lots of Images)

I spent today with Brian (Zulan). He was gracious enough to bring me to the Oregon State vs. WSU Huskies game today and his lovely wife cooked supper for me which was absolutely delicious. Make some more of those Pumpkin cookies. image

Ok. A while back Zulan came on these boards announcing that he and his wife Jennifer are now in charge of her late grandfather's collection. Everybody wanted "Proof" or pictures of his collection. Well, to thank Brian and his wife for being so hospitable to me today and since I've been up here in the Seattle/Tacoma area, I decided to take some digitals of what we could bring into his house for some look-see.

What remains of the collection owned by the late Russel George Stillman, also once known as Mr. Money on a local radio show in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Note: This collection is the property of Brian (Zulan) and his wife Jennifer. I or Pinnacle are not involved with this collection and do not know what plans Brian or Jennifer have for it. I am only posting this as Brain is a good person and because board members requested Zulan to post images of it which I am doing now.

Brian (Zulan), and his wife Jennifer.

I would like to apologize that I could not capture the beauty of the toned coins. My personal point and shoot is just not the camera for nice coins like that. image

Here is the question I faced when my dad passed and I inherited his collection...

Does knowing what you have turn you into a coin collector or a coin seller?
  • The grading sets are really cool!! image Is that last one a guide on spotting Large Date and Small Date 1960 Lincs?

Yes. That is a guide to spotting different date sizes. I had no idea they even made these.

the great part of all this is that OSU kicked Washington's butt.

Hey, I went there as a Beaver fan!!! I have been a beaver believer for my entire life. What a great game. Poorguy was rooting for the Huskies because their team colors matched some other loser team (LSU?) that he roots for. He was crying by the end of the game though. Man I hate to see a grown man cry. image

Both. I am now actively collecting again. I am also going to try to cut down the sheer volume at some point. THere is really so many coins it is hard to deal with.

I have to say I had a great day with Brandon (poorguy). He graciously took these pics and posted em for me. Thanks Brandon!.

  • Great stash Zulan! That kind of sheer volume in raw coins would keep most people here happy for quite some time just looking through and cataloging them. Thanks for sharing!

Let's not forget the fact that LSU whooped up on Oregon State last week!

I had to root for the Huskies, I still have Purple and Gold running through my veins. image
